A busy and developing electrical engineering company based in Swindon has a requirement for an experienced and highly proficient Credit Controller, on a full time basis who is also willing to become involved in the wider activities of its Accounting function.
The Credit Controller must have a very strong background in all aspects of credit control and be fully conversant with the Sage 50 accounting package.
Candidates must also be able to adapt to a new, computerised system that is being introduced to complement Sage and provide the basis for an organised and methodical debt collection process.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate a desire to make a positive contribution to this function, applying a high level of accuracy, initiative and excellent communication skills with colleagues, as well as establishing an effective rapport with valued clients, dealing with queries and ensuring that all sales invoices are settled promptly, within contracted terms.
The company operates an invoice financing scheme and familiarity with similar processes is highly desirable, with an ability to complete the necessary monthly reconciliations. Ensuring that credit checks are made on any prospective new clients will also be part of the duties of the Credit Controller.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in credit control.

Holiday entitlement will be 25 days plus Bank Holidays per year.
Salary range will be £19,000 to £21,000 depending on levels of skill and experience.
